Spring is fast approaching in Colorado. Although some would say that we never actually had winter this year. Spring is such a beautiful time of year for Denver. With lighter nights and milder weather, it's the perfect time of year for a photoshoot.

Summer and Fall are busier times of year for the Denver metro area. Fall in particular can get very crowded at the popular spots. Spring offers a calmer experience for your photoshoot with fewer people around.

Some of my favorite locations for spring sessions around the Denver metro area include parks in Highlands Ranch, Parker, and Centennial, where trees begin blooming early in the season.

Spring also allows for some beautiful wardrobe choices. Light neutrals, soft pastels, and flowy fabrics photograph beautifully against spring greenery and blossoms.

For families, coordinated outfits in creams, soft blues, blush tones, and sage greens work especially well this time of year. Layers like light sweaters or cardigans are perfect for Colorado’s unpredictable spring evenings.
