One of my favorite parts of at-home newborn sessions is how personal each one feels. This family’s home was warm and welcoming, with neutral tones, cozy textures, and thoughtful details that made the perfect backdrop for a relaxed, lifestyle-inspired session.


A Quiet Moment Outdoors

It was a warm and sunny Denver day, so we stepped outside into their backyard for a few portraits. The golden light wrapped beautifully around them as they sat together—mom cradling their baby boy while dad reached over with a quiet smile. It was simple, natural, and heartfelt.


That image—joy on their faces, baby curled up in Mom's arms —captures everything I love about newborn photography: connection, love, and authenticity.


Music and Memories

Inside, the session took an even more personal turn. Dad picked up his guitar, something that had always been a big part of their lives, and softly began to play while mom held their baby close. The sound of gentle strumming filled the room, and you could almost feel their son relax in her arms.
