A Beautiful At-Home Newborn Session: Welcome Back to Colorado
After spending a wonderful summer with family in England, this at-home newborn session was the perfect way to dive back into my work in Colorado. I couldn't have asked for a more heartwarming way to return than spending the morning with a sweet baby girl and her adoring family.
Mom and Dad were simply glowing as they snuggled their precious baby girl. One of the most memorable parts of this session was the family dog, Tyler, who tried his best to steal the spotlight! He was always by their side, making sure he didn’t miss any of the action, which led to some truly adorable moments.
We also took advantage of their beautiful backyard, capturing a few shots outdoors. The natural light and greenery provided the perfect backdrop for this family’s first official photos with their newborn. There’s something magical about photographing new life surrounded by nature — it felt peaceful and serene.
Grandma was also present, beaming with pride as she watched her granddaughter being photographed. It was clear she cherished every moment, making the session even more special. Watching the love and pride in her eyes as she looked at her growing family was such a joy to capture.
This session was a lovely reminder of why I love photographing newborns — the genuine, raw moments of love between a family are unlike any other. It was such a privilege to be welcomed into their home and be part of these early memories. Thank you to this sweet family for making my first session back such a meaningful one!
