The anticipation of welcoming a new life into the world is a magical journey, and what better way to celebrate this momentous occasion than with a maternity photoshoot? 7 DAYS UNTIL YOUR PHOTOSHOOT:

CHOOSE YOUR OUTFITS

Start thinking about what you'll wear during the photoshoot. Maternity gowns, flowy dresses, and form-fitting outfits that showcase your baby bump beautifully are all great options. I have a separate blog post "What to wear for your maternity photoshoot" for more guidance on what to wear. If you are struggling to find an outfit, there is still time to upgrade to the Whole Story package which has access to the client closet.

3 DAYS UNTIL YOUR PHOTOSHOOT

FINALIZE OUTFITS

Ensure all your chosen outfits are clean, pressed, and ready to go. Try them on to make sure they fit comfortably. Don't forget to include any accessories you plan to wear.

CONFIRM YOUR SESSION DETAILS

Make sure to send me a message to request any specific shots or poses you want to include.

DAY OF YOUR SHOOT

WEATHER CONSIDERATIONS

If you're having an outdoor photoshoot, keep an eye on the weather forecast. If the weather looks unpredictable, we can discuss potential backup plans or rescheduling options. Safety is a priority.

AIM TO ARRIVE 5 MINUTES EARLY

Aim to arrive at your chosen location a little earlier than your scheduled time. This will allow you to settle in and ensure a relaxed start to your session.

TAKE EVERYTHING OUT OF YOUR POCKETS

Leave everything in your car that you don't need. Keys or phones, please ask me to put them in my bag. This will ensure we don't have visible phones etc. in pockets on the images. Those little details make a lot of difference to your images!

COMFORTABLE SHOES

If you plan to wear shoes that are difficult to walk in, it’s a good idea to bring an extra pair, just for walking to the different shot locations.

RELAX AND ENJOY!

On the day, remember to relax and enjoy the experience. Pregnancy can be unpredictable, and your energy levels may vary. Don't worry if you need to take breaks or modify poses. Your comfort and safety come first! Have fun!
